Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By accessing or using Nemu ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using Nemu on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Nemu provides a freelance and agency operating platform including client management, project management, time tracking, invoicing, scheduled bookings, and automation tools. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice communicated via email or in-app notification.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must not share your account with others or use another person's account.
• You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service.
• Transmit malware, spam, or any harmful or disruptive content.
• Use the Service to track individuals without their knowledge or consent.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written consent.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

5. Subscription & billing

Nemu is offered in four tiers: Free, Starter, Pro, and Business. Current pricing is available on the pricing page. All paid plans include a 14-day free trial with a valid payment method on file. You will not be charged until the trial ends. You may cancel at any time during or after the trial.

• Subscriptions renew automatically at the selected period (monthly or yearly) until cancelled.
• Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Access continues until then.
• No pro-rata refunds are issued for partial months or years.
• Statutory consumer rights (including the 14-day EU withdrawal right) remain unaffected where applicable.
• Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. Your card details are never stored on Nemu servers.
• VAT and applicable taxes are calculated automatically based on your billing country via Stripe Tax.
• Failed payments enter a 14-day grace period with automatic retries before service is suspended.

6. Your data

You retain full ownership of all data you input into Nemu, including client information, invoices, and time entries. By using the Service, you grant Nemu a limited licence to process your data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. We will never sell your data. 7. Intellectual property

The Nemu platform, brand, design, and software are the intellectual property of Nemu & Co. and are protected by Swiss and international copyright law. Nothing in these terms transfers any IP rights to you beyond the limited right to use the Service as described herein.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements. AI-generated time entries and suggestions are approximate and you are responsible for reviewing them before use.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nemu & Co. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amounts paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zürich, Switzerland.
